1. UT will provide blueprints and expertise in exchange for observing time . 2. These observations are known as Observed Time Difference ( OTD ). 3. Astronomers nonetheless are thrilled to have so much observing time . 4. About 45 % of the observing time is available to external astronomers. 5. Five percent of observing time is further reserved for astronomers of other nationalities. 6. Each of the three agencies considered applications separately for its allocated observing time . 7. Partners have guaranteed shares varying from 10 to 30 percent of the observing time . 8. Observing time on this instrument was shared between Lowell astronomers and the Ohio State University.9. The observing time is mostly assigned for the photometry of asteroids and comets and astrometry. 10. This leads to a basic minute value ( observed time / 100 * rating ).
